What happened to the storyline update?

by PrincessPhoenix ~ October 4th, 2018

It’s been a while, hasn’t it? There have been many updates on the developer-side over the months, but they were posted to the announcement forum rather than here. Smaller updates will be returning to this blog after this, so not to worry!

This is one of the larger updates everyone has been waiting for- the continuation of the storyline! What’s in store? What happened to everyone? Are there new Pokemon in the wild? Will events continue after this? I’m going to leave that for you to find out on your own… but Nexus sums it up quite nicely- “Things are going to be heating up in the Orden region! This storyline update encourages you to explore all corners of Orden, both old and new, to discover the many secrets of the region.”

You can start this next chapter by speaking to the guard at Route 19. If you can’t see the person yet, the NPCs may not have finished updating on your end.  Have fun!

One day I will defeat the power of Helix.

Note: Some players may want to figure everything out on their own, so please be respectful and refrain from spamming too much spoilers in all of the chats.

Dedicated Auctions Page

by PrincessPhoenix ~ February 25th, 2018

Hi everyone, courtesy of Sharks12, there is now a page in game that is dedicated to auctions! Now you can run a proper auction with bidding and auto-rewarding of the winning bid to cut out the hassle of fake auctions, fake bids or trying to organize everything in the trades channel.

You can put up to 3 Pokemon up for auction at a time and set each auction to last from a minimum of 15 minutes to a maximum of 72 hours.

Some things to note about auctions:

  1. Once you put up a Pokemon for auction, you can only cancel it if no one bid on it yet. If someone bids the auction will remain until the time expires.
  2. Once you place a bid, you can’t withdraw it. Your bid money will be returned to you if the auction is over and you didn’t win the auction, so please only bid on Pokemon you are serious about winning.
  3. The auction time is set in decimals, so 15 minutes would be 0.25, 30 minutes is 0.5 etc.

Have fun, and thanks Sharks12!

From sharks12: Thanks to the staff who have helped rigorously  test it over a long time!

Valentines Day Event

by PrincessPhoenix ~ February 5th, 2018

Hi everyone, the Valentines day event is now here and you too can participate in the festival of love and item hoarding! Unfortunately some shady characters have taken this too far and begun smuggling in Pokemon for Valentines profits.

An officer in the Oldpine Police station is looking for strong trainers who can help assist them in cracking down those who are taking illegal advantage of the Valentines rush. If you help him, who knows, you may befriend some of the lovely Pokemon for yourself!

With extra arrows for convenience since people have trouble finding start NPCs!

This event will last for 2 weeks, ending on February 19, 2018 (server time). Have fun!

Snowing in Orden

by PrincessPhoenix ~ December 11th, 2017

Why is everything so white and snowy?! Oh yes, it’s winter time in Orden. You may notice that some of the towns and routes have a fresh new dusting of snow. To make sure all maps show up in their proper winter attire you may need to clear your browser cache. This snow also means…

Snowman destroying contest!

…just kidding. Unfortunately we can’t destroy snowmen on the maps, but here’s the second best thing: A winter event! There is a Sableye elf on Route 4 that needs some help finding his companion Stantler, and if you find it he’s willing to take you to the North Pole! You may need to wait approximately 20 minutes from the post time of this blog entry for the NPCs to update on your end.

Yes, this is the closest Pokemon to an elf PL has.

Yes, this is the closest Pokemon to an elf PL has.

How are things going there? I don’t know, you can check for yourself!

When the normal storyline is completed you can also unlock a small 12 days challenge. How this works is that there are 12 helper NPCs gathered on one of the maps. They will each offer a small challenge, but you have to do them in order, and can only advance to the next challenge 24 hours after the previous challenge is completed. The prizes get slightly better as the days go on so be sure to check back.

This event will last for the rest of the month, ending on December 31, 2017. Have fun!

Trick or Treat

by PrincessPhoenix ~ October 30th, 2017

Happy Halloween, here’s a nice festive holiday at the wonderful and relaxing Camp SplatterRock! ..wait what? It’s not wonderful? And it’s under investigation for suspicious activities and disappearances? Looks like it’s just the place for us!

The event begins in the Pokemon Center of Oldpine Town, where two investigators are in need of a brave and adventurous trainer to help them as a victim special assistant for a sudden and urgent case, which will whisk you off to the infamous Camp SplatterRock. What happens next? No spoilers from me!

CampSplatterRockThis event will last for 2 weeks, ending on November 12, 2017.

Have fun!

Fall of the Summer

by PrincessPhoenix ~ October 7th, 2017

What is this? A Summer event?
No, it’s after summer.
Nope, not Halloween yet.
So.. autumn!?
Yeah, that’s probably it!

With the release of the legendary storyline a while back people have been eagerly awaiting a method to mass hoard Rebirth Crystals, which only occurs during events. But summer has already passed and we still wanted an event, so why not celebrate the annual migration of creatures that begins for both the beginning (or end of) what is the wintry season? We thought about that too but the NPCs of Orden weren’t so cooperative… we had to make a deal with them if we were going to rent their properties for a celebration of any kind.

As such, anyone who wants to join in on the crystal gathering festivities at the end must first help out a rancher in the Eastbourne Farmlands. You can register to volunteer your time at this worker who is inspecting logs on the road:

The rest of the event will last for 2 weeks, ending on October 21, 2017!

Let there be legendaries! (Again)

by PrincessPhoenix ~ August 8th, 2017

It’s finally here everyone! The storyline that was mostly lost in the previous rollback was restored and revised, so while it may have a familiar feel if you’ve run through the previous version, you may not be able to rely on the old guides on the forum this time around.

To resume the storyline, talk to the King Pidgeot that appears outside of the Wildhaven Gym. If you were at Wildhaven Town at any point today, please allow approximately 30 minutes for the NPCs to update on your end.

I don’t want to list all of the edits because there’s no fun if it’s spoiled in a blog post, but here are a few notable changes:

  • There are now more megastone quests. Go find them!
  • You now have a chance of acquiring a shiny version when you rebirth a Legendary pokemon. The shiny chances are the same as the wild shiny encounter rates (this includes the improved shiny chances for premium people)
  • Eevee Candies can now be sold in the player shop.

As tempting as it is, please do not bother the staff to tell you all the answers to the storyline and quest tasks. That is all for now. Have fun!

Critical Hit and Guild Rule

by sharks12 ~ June 3rd, 2017

Hi all. I’ve made a fix for critical hit on multi strike move. Critical hit, when it happens, will only occur on the first strike of a multi strike move.

Also, we have been noticing that several guilds are creating dummy/alt accounts to populate their guilds and try earn points. Any sort of cheating or manipulating the system will lead to your guild being disbanded/deleted. Repeated offence will lead to an account ban.

Inheriting IVs and Hidden Power!

by sharks12 ~ May 29th, 2017

Hi all. Today I’m adding two updates to the game.

  • Pokemon that are obtained through breeding will now inherit (copy) three IVs from it’s parents. (One from a parent and two from the other parent)
  • Hidden Power Typing has been added. Read here to more about.

Have fun!
