Hi everyone. We have made changes to the “Run” system in game.

It’s now calculated using a formula.

In the core series Pokémon games, it is possible to escape from a battle with a wild Pokémon by selecting “Run” on the main battle screen. Escape is not guaranteed however; whether the player is successful at running away from the battle is determined by a calculation involving the speed of the combatants. When the escape is successful, the battle ends immediately. When it is not successful, the wild Pokémon will attack the player’s Pokémon.

More about it here.

Also, now some wild Pokemon can run away from a battle, so be careful! These are the Pokemon (from the same page).

Low probability (~10% chance to flee every turn):

  • Magnemite
  • Grimer
  • Tangela
  • Mr. Mime
  • Dratini
  • Dragonair
  • Unown
  • Snubbull
  • Heracross

Medium probability (50% chance to flee every turn):

  • Cubone
  • Quagsire
  • Delibird
  • Phanpy
  • Teddiursa

Arena Trap & Shadow Tag have been partially implemented to prevent escaping of Wild Pokemon running away.

Thanks, have fun!
